The hotel is deeply committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Partnering with the nonprofit A Million Trees, they have already planted over 1,000 endemic species within their private reserve. Their efforts don’t stop there—they are building a nursery to grow a further 10,000 trees, which will be planted in nearby forests in collaboration with the organization.
In addition to reforestation, they are creating hiking trails within the forest to provide guests and locals alike with opportunities to connect with nature. To further this mission, they are developing an educational program with a local biologist to teach visitors and neighbors about the vital importance of the rainforest.
The hotel also operates a comprehensive recycling program, aiming to lead by example and support the community in improving their recycling practices.
