Day 2

Get Inspired at Bosque Vivo & Arrival at Pacuare Lodge

Overnight: Pacuare Lodge

Meet the founders of Bosque Vivo, a family who transformed their dairy farm into Costa Rica’s only high-altitude reforestation project. Explore the lush grounds with father and daughter, Pier and Giuliana, and learn about the impact of the team’s initiatives. Enjoy a private transfer to Pacuare Lodge in the Caribbean Region.

Day 3

Connect with Pacuare’s Rich Culture & Nature, Dine Under the Stars

Overnight: Pacuare Lodge

Pick and choose your experiences today, from early morning tropical birdwatching and hiking to meet with an Indigenous Cabécar family deep in the forest, to ziplining over pristine canopy and rappeling down towering trees.

Dinner is served riverside with a firepit, the perfect invitation to gather and gaze up at the starry night sky.

Day 4

World-Class Whitewater Rafting & Arrival at Hacienda AltaGracia

Overnight: Hacienda AltaGracia

As a thrilling departure, whitewater raft your way down the Pacuare River’s rainforest-hugged rapids to meet your personal driver. Take a scenic private flight over beautiful Costa Rican landscapes and transfer to Hacienda AltaGracia, set in the foothills of the Talamanca Mountains. Settle in and meet with the property’s chef to forage in the onsite gardens and transform the fresh ingredients into lunch.

Day 5

Biodiversity Walk and Cacao Cultivation

Overnight: Hacienda AltaGracia

Discover the interesting plants and creatures that call the surrounding jungle home on a guided walk. Meet with a local cacao farmer on his land – stroll forest trails, orchards, and learn how the ancient seed is fermented and transformed into chocolate.

Day 6

Arrival to the Osa Peninsula & Rainforest Night Walk

Overnight: Playa Cativo

Enjoy a private transfer to Playa Cativo, located within a 1,000-acre private nature reserve on the Osa Peninsula’s Golfo Dulce coastline. Head out in the first couple of hours after nightfall to experience the electric energy of the rainforest at night. Your expert guide will share mind blowing facts as you spot amphibians, reptiles, arthropods, and more.

Day 7

Golfo Dulce Dolphin and Whale Watching & Mangrove Kayaking

Overnight: Playa Cativo

Join expert researchers from a local conservation NGO and take a boat through one of the world’s few tropical fjords. Observe and collect data on resident and migratory cetaceans, including humpback whales and dolphins. Later, explore untouched mangrove systems at a river mouth by kayak – a peaceful and scenic connection to nature.

Day 8 - 11

Boat Transfer for 3 Nights at Islas Secas

Enjoy getting off the beaten path at this secluded luxury retreat, featuring just eight casitas on the whole immaculate island. Your stay includes cooked-to-order meals and an array of drinks, beach picnics, and a fully stocked minibar that’s topped up daily. You decide how to spend your time on the island, from guided nature hikes, birdwatching, sailing and fishing in the Islas Secas archipelago to scuba diving, wakeboarding, e-foiling, paddleboards and kayaks. You’ll also have complimentary access to daily yoga classes and an hour-long treatment at the nature-immersed spa.

Day 11

Arrival in Panama City, Casco Viejo & Gastronomy

Overnight: La Compañía

Take a private flight from Islas Secas to Panama City and look out to stunning Panamanian landscapes from the air. Get to know the city’s historic quarter, Casco Viejo, with a local expert – we love the area’s contrast of old-world architecture and edgy modern-day hotspots. Eat your way across the neighborhood with a culinary host, diving into an exciting food scene that reflects the city’s geographic location as a cultural crossroads.

Day 12

VIP Panama Canal, Regenerative Cattle Farming & Congolese Heritage

Overnight: La Compañía

Stand just feet away from the locks and behold the power and precision of the huge vessels that traverse a feat of modern engineering: the Panama Canal. Later, visit a cattle farm where the use of agroecological practices has restored the local ecosystem’s biodiversity, before connecting with Panama’s Congolese heritage, expressed through dances that tell stories of resistance, survival, and celebration of freedom.
