Arrival to the Pacuare River

Start your action-packed journey in an unreal location right on the Pacuare River, home to the best of Costa Rica´s whitewater rafting surrounded by endless tropical jungle.
In true adventure style you´ll arrive by raft, the only way to reach your amazing eco-lodge set on the banks of the river. Enjoy the tropical scenery and rest up for tomorrow´s excitement.
Day 2
Zipline Breakfast & Pacuare Rapids
Overnight: Pacuare Lodge
Enjoy your first Costa Rica breakfast 20m above the ground, in the treetops of a beautiful Ceiba tree. Glide down a 130m zipline to a suspended platform, where today´s breakfast is served amongst the treetops.Â
Take on the rapids of the Pacuare River in the afternoon with levels of III and IV difficulty and a distance of over 26 miles. A backdrop of uninterrupted tropical rainforest makes this a dream destination for rafters!
Day 3
Fly to Manuel Antonio & 4x4 Nature Trails

Day 4
Rappelling & Lunch at Diamante Waterfall

Today you´ll take a private vehicle south of Manuel Antonio to the magical Diamante Waterfall.
You´ll get to rappel down to a hidden cave behind the flow of the waterfall, where lunch will be served behind the tumbling water. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to swim and float in the fresh water of the falls, embracing the beautiful natural setting.
For another level of adventure, you can choose skydiving today to take in the stunning coast of Costa Rica adrenaline-style.
Day 5
Take to the Skies: Helicopter & Ziplines
Overnight: Nayara Tented Camp
Move from one piece of paradise to the next as you take a scenic helicopter transfer to your hotel in Costa Rica´s northern region, with vistas of the majestic Arenal Volcano. Look down over views of the coast and national parks from the sky, a unique perspective for admiring the country´s natural beauty.
The sky adventures continue with a zipline ride over thick forest canopy. Whizz along cables slung between canyons, admire incredible views, and fly through the trees to feel an adrenaline rush like no other.
Day 6
Underground Caves & Hot Springs
Overnight: Nayara Tented Camp
Head to the Cavernas de Venado and explore a network of caves only discovered in 1945. You´ll see a different side of Costa Rica descending into the depths where you´ll walk, swim and crawl through the caverns, passing beautiful rock formations and cave creatures along the way.
Take a well-deserved rest this evening and enjoy a private meal at Ecotermales. Relax in geothermal pools and unwind before dinner is served.
Day 7
Race to Monteverde & Night Hike
Overnight: Monteverde Lodge & Gardens
Arrive to your next destination adventure-style! Begin with a kayaking race across Arenal Lake to an island in its center where you´ll be rewarded with drinks and snacks. Hop on a boat and cruise across to dry land where you´ll take a 4×4 to your eco-lodge in Monteverde, home to the mystical cloud forest.Â
Spend the evening tracking down scorpions, snakes, and frogs on a nocturnal hike in the Curi Cancha Wildlife Reserve.
Day 8
Adrenaline Hit: Bungee & Tarzan Swing
Overnight: Monteverde Lodge & Gardens
For some pure adrenaline, get ready to throw yourself into a 143m bungee jump, the highest of its kind in Central America! If you dare, follow up with a go on the extreme Tarzan swing, swaying over a height of 470 ft.
In the afternoon, experienced horseback riders can test their skills and dive into the sportive aspect of riding with some endurance training through rugged countryside.
Day 9
Las Catalinas Transfer & Sunset Boat
Overnight: Casa Chameleon at Las Catalinas
Take a private land transfer this morning to the Pacific coast, arriving to the town of Las Catalinas. A stop will be made along the way for a tasty local lunch.
After a week of strenuous physical activity, enjoy a relaxing sunset boat in the calm waters in front of Las Catalinas.
Day 10
Water Buzz: SUP Race, Snorkeling & Jet Skis
Overnight: Casa Chameleon at Las Catalinas
Have a refreshing wake-up call with an early morning standup paddleboarding race! Start at Danta Beach and use your core strength and balance to paddle in first to Playa Dantita. This small and secluded beach has calm waves, perfect for a spot of post-race snorkeling.
Head back out into the sea in the afternoon for a jet ski excursion to discover the neighboring beaches.
Day 11
Big Energy: Surf & Mountain Biking
Overnight: Casa Chameleon at Las Catalinas
This morning is all about catching waves, whether you´re a pro or first-time surfer. Beginners will learn the basics down the coast at Playa Flamingo, while experienced surfers can head out by boat to experience the famous waves of Playa Avellana.
Get pumped up for an afternoon mountain biking session on diverse trails that extend between coastline and dry forest, offering some of the most beautiful views of the area including McHenry Peak and La Cresta.
Celebrate the close of your action-packed Costa Rica adventure with a farewell BBQ dinner on the beach.
Day 12
Departure
Say goodbye to your adventures in Costa Rica and transfer to Liberia Airport (LIR) to catch your onward flight.
