Arrival to San José
Overnight: Hotel Grano del Oro
Touch down at San José (SJO) Airport and start your Costa Rica family adventure! Enjoy the local cuisine of the Central Valley and get a good night´s sleep at your luxury hotel.
Day 2
Wildlife & Water Fun
Overnight: The Springs Resort & Spa, Villa Palacio
Take a private flight to Arenal, the home of natural hot springs and the magnificent namesake volcano. Enjoy a thrilling afternoon of tubing, rock wall-climbing and river kayaking before exploring an amazing wildlife sanctuary and relaxing in soothing geothermal pools at your hotel.
Day 3
Rainforest Trails & Lake Activities
Overnight: The Springs Resort & Spa, Villa Palacio
Journey through Arenal´s spectacular rainforest trails on a hike through thick, tropical vegetation and over hanging bridges – the kids will love spotting local wildlife like monkeys and sloths! Get back into the water this afternoon with some fishing and stand-up paddleboarding on the lake.
Day 4
Beach & Boat Safari
Overnight: Tortuga Lodge
Start the day with a private flight to Tortuguero on Costa Rica´s Caribbean side. You´ll explore the village and stroll the beach before jumping into a boat for a wildlife safari through the freshwater canals and lagoons of Tortuguero National Park, a seasonal nesting site for various sea turtle species.
Day 5
Kayaking & Green Sea Turtles
Overnight: Tortuga Lodge
Grab a canoe and paddle out to explore more of the beautiful Tortuguero National Park. In the afternoon head to the Sea Turtle Conservancy to learn about green sea turtles and take a guided experience to discover their local nesting site (July to September).
Day 6
Relax in Guanacaste
Overnight:Â Four Seasons Peninsula Papagayo
Fly into Liberia airport and transfer to the luxury of Four Seasons Peninsula Papagayo. It´s playtime for adults and kids! Swim and sunbathe on golden sand beaches, make a splash in one of the resort’s four swimming pools, or take a massage at the spa.
Day 7
Family Canoe & Wildlife Paradise
Overnight:Â Four Seasons Peninsula Papagayo
It´s fun for all the family in a morning canoe exploration around the turquoise waters of the surrounding bays. Perfect your stroke as you experience the vibrant marine life that lives along the coastline. From the comfort of a golf cart, look out for the Peninsula Papagayo´s amazing wildlife, with a chance to spot monkeys, coatis and parakeets on an afternoon or night drive.

Witch´s Rock Ziplines & Mini Explorers
Overnight:Â Four Seasons Peninsula Papagayo
Fly over tropical canopy with an exciting zipline experience! Walk over hanging bridges and whizz down 11 cables for a bird´s eye view of the jungle. Bring your mini explorers for a hands-on outdoor experience to discover the Peninsula Papagayo´s fascinating ecosystems. Â
Day 9
Say Farewell
After a wonderful family trip it’s time to say goodbye to Costa Rica and transfer to Liberia Airport to fly home.
